PROGRESSIVE BLOCK

It is a hydraulic valve in block form, where there is one inlet port and number of side outlet ports. The function of valve is, to divide incoming grease to the valve in metered amount of outgoing grease from each outlet port. This is achieved with the help of number of plunger pins moving to and fro in controlled bores in the block.

On account of input grease pressure, the first plunger pin moves to one side, ejecting out controlled amount of grease and simultaneously opens out the passage for input grease to flow into the 2nd bore. Similarly second pin moves to one side, ejecting metered amount of grease from second port, opening the passage for grease for 3rd bore. Likewise similar phenomenon occurs for the 3rd, 4th and subsequent bores. Cycle is repeated again when from the last bore passage is clear to the first bore. Since this all happen in sequence, this is called progressive/sequence block. The sequence stops when total input grease is consumed (ejected out) from the outlet ports.

PROGRESSIVE BLOCK SERIES PB

It is a simpler series where discharge cannot be altered. It is fixed (0.4 gms/point/stroke) refer table. Width & Height are 95 & 85 mm respectively. Inlet port size 1/4" BSP and Outlet suitable for 6mm OD tube.

MASTER PROGRESSIVE BLOCK SERIES 'DPZ'

In case number of lubrication points to be fed are many i.e. more than 12 nos. It is advisable to use master block as primary feeder. Lubrication line from master block shall be connected to secondary block from where lubrication points are joined. The discharge of master block is more than the secondary block. Master Block has pressure indicating pin in each line. In case of over pressure, pressure indicating pin comes out. This happens when the line coming out from the master block get chocked.

PROGRESSIVE BLOCK SECONDARY SERIES - 'DPX'

In this series discharge of block is . 1 to .4 cc/cycle adjustable. This block can be directly attached to the pump and can feed upto 12 lubrication points (maximum). These blocks are available in 6, 8, 10 & 12 outlets version. If the no. of lubrication points in machine are quite many, in combination with master block, secondary block of DPX are to be used.

VISUAL CYCLE INDICATOR

In stag type block, discharge ranging from 0.1-0.3 cc/stroke. one can delete or add elements for making number of ports as per requirement. Outlet ports are available at the top surface. This type of block is suitable for low pressure applications

Main features of this series are:

  • Monoblock construction; 4 different sizes available to serve from 3 up to 12 lube points.

  • To provide adjustment of lubricant amount each piston section will discharge by means of metering screws ranging from 0.10 to 0,40 cc/cycle.

    Inlet port size : 1/4" BSP and

    Outlet port size : 1/8" BSP

  • DELIVERY PRESSURE : Up to 150 bar.

    ELECTRICAL CYCLE INDICATOR

    It is a reed micro switch ; when excited from a magnet at the end of the piston section, produces a signal which confirms end of the cycle. It is NA contact ( 20W-0, 5-200 V commutable voltage).

    PROGRESSIVE BLOCK STAG TYPE DPK SERIES

    DPK series is a complicated block. DPK series are the units with smallest metering capacity in the System. Working pressure in this case is 125 kgs/cm2 .

    Stag (Element) can be selected depending upon discharge requirements.

    Inlet port size : 1/4" BSP

    Outlet port size : 1/8" BSP on the left side and right side only.
